Smartest: Started buying DIS in 1995 and have never sold a single share ..


I also loaded up at the bottom when the market crashed in 2008 so many of my shares were bought below $20 per share.

Dumbest: Not following my former boss when he tried to hire me at a small company that eventually developed Match.com ... and he was offering me a ton of stock options. I could be retired on an island had I taken that gig. However, I have no regrets because I declined due to a health issue with my daughter so I made the right decision. I also made a bunch of dumb investments during the dot.com era but none that cost me significantly.
